HAIR & SCALP EXAMINATION

A thorough examination is performed by a trained Trichologist who will use a special tool called a trichoscope. A trichoscope is a digital handheld video lens that captures and examines magnified images of hair, scalp and areas of concern. This health and scalp snapshot informs our recommendations for the most effective solutions and treatment plan options for the client.

The trichoscope examination:

• Is state of the art technology that is pain free, non-invasive and safe for men, women and children.
• Takes measurements and identifies problem areas with pores, hair follicles and the scalp.
• Identifies problem areas such as: itching, dryness, flakes, specific scalp disorders, oiliness and hair breakage to name a few.
• Tracks the client progress both pre and post treatment and promotes early detection of hair loss and scalp conditions.

The earlier hair loss or a scalp condition is detected, the healthier your scalp will be and the more hair you are likely to retain.
